CAS lnnovations (CASI) is a venture builder and independent investment company that works in deep partnership with CETAV as well as CAS to turn world-class academic research into high-impact commercial companies. CASI identifies projects, resolves key IP and commercialisation barriers, and prepares technologies for spinout via a structured incubation and investment program. Each year, CASI develops a focused cohort of up to 1O investable spinouts across optics and semiconductors, advanced materials, biotechnology, quantum technologies, energy, Al and data-driven solutions.

CASIP

The Venture lncubation Program by CAS lnnovations (CASIP) is a structured 12-month platform designed to transform breakthrough research from the Czech Academy of Sciences into investment-ready spinouts. Each year, the Program selects around 1O high-potential projects from an active pipeline and provides them with targeted support across team formation, IP strategy, product development, MVP and PMF validation, regulatory and go-to-market planning, and investor readiness. With dedicated capital, hands-on venture-building, and access to industry, academic, and VC networks, the program systematically prepares each project to launch as a credible spinout.
